Colleen Sullivan is a Physical Therapist with expertise in the treatment of children and adults with musculoskeletal conditions at Step & Spine Physical Therapy, in the Bend clinic.
Originally from Seattle, Colleen completed her undergraduate studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham. She then went on to complete her Physical Therapy education at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma. She continues to educate, and her favorite courses pertain to bike fitting and running form.
A USA Triathlon Level 2 and USA Cycling Level 2 coach, Colleen is passionate about helping people achieve their athletic goals. Her experience as a cycling and triathlon coach often finds her treating endurance athletes as well as those who enjoy participating in the abundant outdoor activities available in Central Oregon. Whether she is helping people trim down their times or helping them recover from injuries, the most rewarding part of what she does, is to help them achieve a goal that seems larger than life. Oft times, an athlete does not know how to approach a goal. Whether it is a 5k or an Ironman triathlon, Colleen has the skills to help you achieve it.
Colleen treats more than runners and cyclists. Through physical therapy, she is able to help a variety of patients return to the activities they love by identifying and treating the injuries that sideline their lives. If you are feeling like you have been benched by your injuries, or if you want to trim time from your PR, Colleen is an experienced professional.
Being active is important to Colleen, and Bend’s sunny days, clear skies and amazing trails allow her to go on adventures without being far from home. When she is not working, you can often find Colleen and her adopted German Shorthaired Pointer, Maverick, on the trails, whether that be in the dirt or on the snow. She loves trail running, hiking, cycling, swimming, skiing and snowboarding.
Always keep moving towards what keeps you happily recreating.
